The ugly:
Lost a friend. Actually treasured it but never expect that things will turn out like this. It was a 360 degree twist. Unbelievable and surprise. Never figure out if I should laugh or cry over it. Learned a lesson that should never ever treat someone close before you know him or her well enough. Self confessed that I should cut down my craps and get conversation serious enough to start a war. Disappointment mixes with What-the-fuck-ment. All I could say is, sometimes when I act like I don't give a fuck, my middle finger actually does.
The Good
My physics lecturer is a good guy who talks like an AK-47. But he is kind enough to explain in detail every physics concept that I don't understand. It was a fun class. Glad that I made the right choice to finish both physics classes in the summer. On the court, I received some advice from an OG. He told me to do what I want to do instead of what I'm forced to do. You don't success through your gene but your hard work. That's what he said to make me pushing myself a step more than before.
The Bad
Copped two basketball kicks in the summer with a total of only $80. Got a Reebok Zigencore for $50. Used about 3 weeks to get used to the Zignano. Cushioning wise isn't good as my heel hurts after hustling for rebound. But it increase my speed with that Zignano tech(It propels me forward whenever I run).
A Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 for $30. Returning to the Air-ride after retiring my Nike Zoom Hustle. Forefoot Zoom Air aids me a lot in lateral movement and sprinting. But the phylon midsole did not help much in the heel cushioning. I prefer the Hyperfuse more as I am always a big fan of the Air cushioning. Despite that I never exclude myself in testing different tech-ride. Next ride? the adizero Crazy light. Yes, I am willing to risk my basketball career if its price drops to an affordable number.
The Fun
I have a two-week break after my final lecture ended. Traveled to West Virginia to visit my bro and then started a one week trip to Washington DC and Philly. Travelling back and forth between states ain't fun. But the trip was memorable. Visited historic place and tasted Malaysian cuisine cooked by Malaysians. Damn, it's been a year since I ate Malaysian food. Celebrated Hari Raya at the Malaysia Embassy was a hell of an experience. Well, I'm staying in the Midwest so it isn't easy for me to travel to the Malaysia Embassy. Went back to West Virginia after the trip and chilled there for week. Ball there with them regulars. Enjoyed the last few days of my holiday.
The end.
Back to Milwaukee facing the new semester. It is gonna be a hard one. But I fear no one other than myself. So I will take it like a man and bang it like a beast.
Wake me up, when September ends....
